RECIPE PREPARATION Apricot nectar:

I have to tell you from the beginning that I did everything by sight ... I read around you and I did according to my taste and my humble knowledge. So ... I washed the apricots, unwrapped them and cleaned the symbols. I put an 8 l pot of water to boil, to fit all the apricots to boil. I put about 4-4.5 liters of water in the water. I added the sugar to the water to boil together. When the water started to boil I added the apricots for a maximum of 5 minutes. I took them out with a foamer and put them in the food processor and I took good care of them. I put the resulting puree in another pot, I added from the water in which I boiled the apricots, as much as you want to dilute it, to make it thick ... I put all the water, I put the pot on low heat, I I took the formed foam and left it to boil for 1 hour. I put hot in clean and sterilized bottles. I covered the bottles with a blanket and left them for 2 days, then stored them in the pantry. Served with ice cubes is a delight !!!

Ingredient - Fruit Nectar (1000 ml)

  • 1 kg of fruit (melon, peach, plum or any other fruit)
  • 600 ml water
  • 325 g sugar
  • 1/2 lemon (juice only)

Preparation - Fruit nectar

  • Put water and sugar in a saucepan, over low heat, and mix. After the sugar has completely melted and the syrup starts to boil slightly, add the cleaned and cut fruits into small pieces and the lemon juice.
  • Boil the nectar for 6 minutes, on low heat, no more. During boiling, remove the foam formed on the surface.
  • Turn off the heat and let the nectar rest for a few minutes (4-5 minutes), then pass it through the blender.

  • If we want to consume it within a maximum of 2 days, we put it in a carafe, in the refrigerator, or in a bottle. If we want to consume fruit nectar in a maximum of 1 month, we sterilize the bottles, by boiling or baking, we fill them with nectar and then we turn them on the lid and let them cool. We store them in the pantry after they have cooled completely.
  • If we want to preserve the nectar for 1 year, we sterilize the bottles before filling them, we fill them with nectar and then we sterilize them again, by boiling, for 30 minutes. Let the bottles cool in the pot in which we boiled them, then wipe them and store them in the pantry.
